Elizabeth Dixon

Elizabeth Dixon, M.A., LPC/S, Assistant Director
- The first Student Affairs representative to the Staff Advisory Committee to the President.
  This is a significant honor and Elizabeth has great experience and insights from her extensive work
  with students here at the college, and her involvement with multiple organizations and staff around the college.

  “Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Today’s Students: How you can help."
Rhonda Kalil, M.D. Rhonda Kalil, M.D. 
- Promoted to Medical Director of CASAS Department
- Oversees the CASAS Psychiatry Residency Training Program with MUSC.
- Presidential Award Recipients as the College of Charleston's Staff Award Luncheon
   as Temporary Staff Member of 2013-2014.
Rachael McNamara

Rachael McNamara, M.A. 
 - 2016 Certified Trainer, KORU Mindfulness
 - Presidential Award Recipient: Outstanding Service Award June 2015
    Awarded at the Celebration of Staff Lunch and Staff Awards Ceremony June 11, 2015
Outstanding Campus Collaboration Award, 2014 Salute to Student Affairs
- Awarded a Campus Suicide Prevention Grant of $301,527 to identify and support students
   at risk.
 - Featured in the Portico  the employee newsletter of the College of Charleston. 
 - Coordinated first-ever and extremely successful "Alternative Health Fair" attended by
   over 100 students, with 15 area medically related health care organizations presenting.

Dr. Frank Budd

 Frank Budd, Ph.D., ABPP
 - Executive Vice President for Student Affairs Outstanding Service Award,
   2016 Salute to Student Affairs
 - Co-sponsor of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration,
   Lonnie E. Mitchell, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, 
   2015 Behavioral Health Policy Academy.
   Dr. Budd served as a keynote speaker.
 - Student Affairs representative to the Staff Advisory Committee to the President
    (2013 - 2015)
 - Sponsored the start-up and official recognition of the first College of Charleston
    Student Veterans Group.   
 - Interviewed and provided content for Strategies for Surviving the First Day of Classes 
    in THE COLLEGE Today, 14 August 2014   
 - Interviewed for an article on binge drinking published in the Charleston
    Post and Courier January 12, 2013
